The Fellowship has sent one of the Shadow Man's generals fleeing with his tail between his legs, but a blow has still been struck as the villain makes off with the champions of dwarvenking and satyrkind.  With this lead, the group boards a vessel headed to a distant humankind port, having some minor adventures along the way.  When they arrive, they find a colorful and idyllic scene, but good things rarely last when the Shadow Man is afoot, as the townsfolk are terrorized by a mysterious wizard.  Worse, this wizard seems to recognize Heinrich...

The Fellowship goes to Erisphnea, the coastal capital of the dwarves, in order to recruit more champions to their cause.  The dwarves offer their aid, but ask the Fellowship to stay for an important celebration to recieve the gods' favor.  They celebrate in their own way: Prince Stellwyn Dawn (Kyle) converses with the champions of dwarven, gnome and satyrkind; Taylor Silkblade (Holly) samples the local cuisine; Elysian (Jovian) attempts to avoid dealing with lesser folk, but finds an unexpected companion; Lord Heinrich Rothschild (Yako) strikes a bargain for magical artifacts; and Ravage (Chris) pays her respects to the slumbering dwarven giant.  Festivities are cut short, however, by a rather rude and uninvited guest...

We briefly leave behind Pittsburgh to visit a very distant world quite unlike our own.  In this land, magic reigns supreme, and a figure known only as the Shadow Man creates terror and chaos for its people.  Forced into action, the world calls upon five heroes to stop the mysterious figure: Prince Stellwyn Dawn (Kyle), the last surviving member of humankind's royal family; Lord Heinrich Rothschild (Yako), a human field surgeon-turned-dragonic warrior; Elysian Foxjuggler (Jovian), haughty champion of elvenkind; Taylor Silkblade (Holly), halfling squire to and true protector of Elysian; and Ravage (Chris), giantess created by Shadowman who seeks revenge on her progenitor.

This episode is just character creation, but we strongly recommend you give a listen to it-- worldbuilding is very involved in Fellowship, so there's a lot to take in here!

The group splits up to take care of their individual problems.  Lucia, Lesleigh and Lena go to the Winter Court to negotiate the release of Jean; Luther (and Brandon, per Lena's request) head to Serafine's apartment to being a bodyguard detail; and Branch teams up with Constances' hired musclewizard Chad to help Emil get to the bottom of the vampiric abductions.  But nothing is quite as simple as it seems.  The Winter Court is visibly having problems of its own, without meddling summer fae.  Branch's plucky luck may have finally met its match.  And the thing Serafine fears so much is a curiously familiar stranger...

Note: The end of the episode has an announcement about the short-term future of the podcast, but in short:  we're unable to determine whether Kyle will be able to run games in the future.  It could be nothing, but the worst case scenario is 8 weeks.  To help, we are putting Steel City Rhapsody on hiatus, and playing Fellowship instead, GMed by Bee.  Even if it turns out to be nothing, we end up with some buffer, and we plan on coming back to Fellowship to fill downtime between campaigns.

Thank you for your support and understanding, as always.

A week following the events in the Hill and Strip Districts and Lesleigh's demise, the survivors are still reeling and trying to pick up the pieces, but there is little time for recovery and healing.  Emil has found where vampires have been stringing up corpses and enlists Branch's help to investigate.  Emmisary Bright has secured a liason to the Winter court and plans to bargian for Jean Darby's release.  And the nightclub singer Serafine Rouge approaches Luther for a personal request...

Since their victory against the sentient, static cloud White Noise it’s been quiet and boring for the up and coming rag tag team of super teens, Perfect Chaos. In the basement of the Power Punch arcade, the gang receives a job offer from the gigantic robotic hero, Citadel. Impressed with their performance against White Noise, he wants their help in reclaiming a mysterious stolen artifact. But something here smells fishy… and this time it isn’t Gillian’s costume.

Will May (Holly), The Legacy, be able to use her powers to help the people of Halcyon?
Can Hyacinth (Jovian), The Nova, keep their terrifying and dangerous powers under control?
Can Beth (Bee), The Doomed, keep her freedom and life from the cult that created her?
Will Gillian (Yoshi), The Janus, creep people out with her horrifying powers and costume?

Yes to that one. Always yes to that one.
