After an unexpected hiatus, we return to Pittsburgh, where things are quite complicated.  Branch is separated from his backup and forced to resort to violence or perish.  Lucia, Lena and Lesleigh appear in the summer court, and must figure out their diplomatic approach-- made all the more complicated by Jean's continued reluctance to give up the artifact book.  And Luther, still running from the mysterious man who destroyed Serafine's apartment, is driving around town, hoping from an explanation from her new companion...

As night falls, Elysian heads to the rendevous with Flintkirk, hoping to deliver the letter and the curse. Close behind, the rest of the Fellowship follows, looking for a way to infiltrate the complex and aid their ally in the mission. What they do not know, yet, is that this night will not end without incident.  Secrets will be learned, blood will be shed, confidence will be shattered, and the shadows will emerge to end their hope.

This week, Holly's too bust to finish the Shadowed Hearts episode.  It should come out next week.  Until then, please enjoy the first Patreon-exclusive episode, now available for general audiences!

After Darn (Kyle) causes a small explosion in his workshop, his mentor relegates him to a different task in preparation for the Vigil of Light, a major holiday celebrating dragonkind's victory over The Darkness.  They gathers their two clutchmates, Jagi (Holly) and Luka (Trin), and the three of them head off for the dragon fortress/mining facility Brightstone.  Their mission is to check on the slowed shipments of Aerichus, a beautiful and precious ore.  What they uncover is something far deeper and more sinister than normal causes of delay, and it will take these young dragons' entire charm, cunning and courage to surmount this strange antagonist.

With the threat of the Shadow Man looming large, the Fellowship spreads out. Stellwyn and Ravage meet with Gemini to ask for their aid, but learn several troubling things: the twins have become separated, leaving the damaged twin alone and flustered.  What's more, the giant senses that Stellwyn is carrying a giant's heart-- their piece of power-- in the Crown of Seven.  Meanwhile, Heinrich and Taylor are led by the Faire elf to meet Freyer, the dragon who lives at and feeds upon the magic in the roots of the World Tree.  On the way to their meeting, the three discuss the history of mankind's relationship with dragons, Heinrich's place in that history, and further details of the Elven Council's sinister plot-- details that become immensely complicated after Elysian's secret society makes a decision about their counterplay...

Having time to spare in the World Tree, the party spreads out.  With Stellwyn to help, Heinrich once again attempts to access the elven archives and learn more about their magical abilities.  Stellwyn, however, has questions for the introverted scholar.  Meanwhile, Taylor talks to Morgan to learn more about the legends surrounding Orna, the living spear that has chosen the halfling as its wielder.  As Elysian prepares to spy on the elven council's latest duties, Ravage heads out to meet and reconcile with two unusual, but familiar twins...
